At the beginning of July I was lucky enough to team up with an outrageously talented group of wedding professionals for a styled wedding shoot at Full Bloom Lavender Farm in Langley. We had booked the field hoping for some of that glowy sunset light, but were instead given a dark and cloudy day. In times like this it forces me to get creative and shoot in different ways, learning to not always rely on that golden light, which to be honest, doesn’t always happen in the real world. In the end, we made the most out of what we had (and the short amount of time) and I am thrilled with how everything turned out!
Many thanks to the creative team for making this happen:

Maria from Niche Boutique Florals made a GORGEOUS bouquet for this shoot…it even had little berries in it! How fun is that?!
Full Bloom Lavender Farm made for the most perfect backdrop…
Although the day was dark and grey, it did make for some beautiful even lighting
Maria rocked this shoot, and I still can’t get over how much she looks like Cindy Crawford!
Paige Griffith Makeup Artist did a fantastic job glamming Maria up…
I am always so happy when asked to join in on styled shoots and getting the chance to not only network with some of the most amazing people, but also the opportunity to get creative, learn new techniques and do things I wouldn’t normally do which in turn only improves the experience I give to my clients!
