These two. these two. Jenny and Jessee are high school sweethearts and it all started with a class trip to Europe for French class. I’ve never been to Europe but I can only imagine it was the charm of the cobblestone streets, the experience of something new and the smell of fresh bread love in the air – this comes from years of watching romantic movies for research you guyz 😉 Shortly after coming back from their trip they began holding hands in the hallways (which as we all know is a big deal in high school 😉 and from that moment on they have been inseparable.
Four year later Jessee proposed to Jenny on the swings at the local elementary school and a year later they were married. Jenny is now a teacher at this same elementary school, and if their story isn’t already the cutest thing you’ve ever heard, Jessee just graduated with a degree in education and soon they will be teaching side by side at the same school. Who would have thought that all these years later their lives would bring them back together were it all began.
Jenny and Jessee, first of all, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. You two reminded me why I do what I do and for that I can’t thank you enough. The two of them will celebrating their four year wedding anniversary today and I couldn’t be happier for them! Let’s hope it’s filled with champagne and lots of cake 😉
This past weekend we captured some photos for their anniversary and the weather managed to hold off until we were finished (love it when that happens). We started their session at Scoopz Ice Cream in Kamloops and adventured around downtown from there. Here are just a few of my favourites from our time together…
A special shout out the employees at Scoopz who noticed we would be taking photos and went out of their way to make sure they looked extra perfect 🙂
It rained about an hour before our session, but these two must’ve brought the luck of the Sun Gods because this light was oh so beautiful.
The three of us went to high school together and I would always tell Jenny that she was my only Jenny…I guess I can share her with Jessee 😉
These two were clearly naturals in front of the camera…
They always know how to make one another smile.
Jenny, you are seriously so gorgeous.
Happy Thursday!
