When April and Chloë first met, they were each dating different people. Each time they would meet they couldn’t help but notice a spark between the two of them that was hard to ignore. As each of their relationships fizzled out, April and Chloë spent more and more time together and eventually began dating and moved in together shortly after. They knew instantly that they would be together forever and even began planning their wedding weeks into dating. These two are perfect for each other right down to their shoe size – literally!
Chloë proposed to April about a year later and a year after that, April gave Chloë a proper proposal so they could each have an engagement ring (which she had custom designed by a designer in New Zealand!). The love between these two could not be more evident. The way they look at one another, how they make each other laugh, how kind they are to one another. Theirs is a kind of love that makes me giddy with joy that they chose me to document this special time in their lives.
The three of us spent our morning at Stanley Park on the Seawall and as the sun rose, we made our way to a nearby park. April and Chloë, you two are so fun to be around and I am over the moon excited for your wedding in Hope this August! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your engagement photos!
Can we all just take a moment and appreciate the fact that Chloë wore a Zebra print romper?!
April and Chloë will be having a Wes Anderson themed wedding in the middle of the forest, so the Brockton Point Lighthouse was a perfect spot for engagement photos.
Great light + adorable couple = happy photographer 😉
I had stepped away for a moment to check something out and when I looked back, they were dancing in the morning light. Apparently this is a common occurrence in their household (told you they’re adorable). I’m going to have to get Omar to take some notes 😉
Happy Wednesday!
