Amy first met Mike when she walked into his work asking for a receipt. He quickly became flabbergasted as he had never done that before and had to call for help to do a somewhat easy task, although I’m sure he was just distracted by Amy’s beauty. She came back later on that day completely in tears. Her boyfriend had suddenly broke up with her without notice and Mike was there when she was at her worst. He ended up asking her out on a date while she was on her way to try and win her ex boyfriend back…she turned her car around and hasn’t looked back since.
Amy and Mike’s love for one another is strong and you can tell fate definitely played it’s role in their relationship. These two were made for one another. They laugh at each other’s jokes, appreciate one another’s sarcastic side and both know how to make the best of any situation.
Mike proposed to Amy while in Hawaii last year. Amy had made jokes prior that if he didn’t propose soon that she would do it first. He had the whole thing planned and was terrified because he actually thought she was going to do it first so he had to plan his moves wisely. While on a hike, Mike got down on bended knee on the mountain side overlooking the ocean and asked Amy for her hand in marriage. Of course she said yes, and thus making Mike the happiest man alive.
They’ll be saying their I Dos later on this month and although I won’t be there to document their wedding day, I am so excited I was still able to document their love. They decided to have their session at Derby Reach in Langley and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day! Amy and Mike, I had so much fun with this session and hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your engagement photos…
They can literally make one another laugh in a matter of seconds.
Their session was full of a lot of laughs, but I was able to capture some true candid moments of their love. And boy is that love strong.
Amy, you are seriously stunning.
What else are beards for than for holding daisies 😉
Sunset photos are my favourite for that beautiful golden glowy light…doesn’t hurt when your couple looks this good either 😉
I’ll end it here because this sums up their love perfectly.
Happy Tuesday!
Jen
