Bobbi and Kevin grew up as neighbours in their childhood homes. Bobbi being friends with Kevin’s little sister lead to them to always being a part of one another’s lives. As they grew older, they would catch up at neighbourhood BBQs and while visiting during the holidays. It wasn’t until Kevin came home after going to school in Japan that the two had a chance to reconnect, and this is where their love took off. Kevin proposed under the midnight sun in the Arctic Circle right before taking a dive into the Arctic Ocean.
Kevin and Bobbi will be saying their I Do’s in the adjoining backyard of their childhood homes, and I am so thrilled to be a part of it! We spent their engagement session at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby where we strolled through the autumn leaves, which was made even more fun with their little pup, Hank. I was thrilled to spend more time with this amazing couple and I can’t wait to document their first day as husband and wife!
Here are a few of my favourites from our time together…
I love it when clients bring their fur babies along for their sessions! And you can tell Hank has got these two wrapped around his tiny, furry paws.
After a slight outfit change, we strolled through the park and these two enjoyed a good game of Scrabble.
I mean, just look at them…their love glows!
The golden fall sunset made for the most dreamy light.
Kevin knows how to make Bobbi laugh in a matter of seconds…as seen here…
…and here…
I’ll end it here because there are few things as pretty as a sunset dance by the water.
