Stevi and Cody first met in theatre during the production of Legally Blonde: the Musical. As time went on, a connection was in the works. It wasn’t until they both stared in leading roles in Pride and Prejudice as…wait for it…Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy that the two became a couple. Cody later proposed on stage, and a year later, here we are.
Stevi got ready in the suite at Dolphins Resort with her girls and I don’t think I’ve ever walked into a room on a wedding day with the air quite as calm. Stevi has a way of making everyone around her feel like family, and the whole day went on with a lot of laughs, hugs and cheers! They lucked out with the most beautiful October day, which meant we were able to take the scheduled helicopter up to the mountain top for photos before their beautiful ceremony on the beach.
Cody and Stevi, you two are exceptional. You made me feel like a part of your wedding day and not just your photographer. Your love for each other, as well as everyone around you, is evident and I can already tell you have a long and happy future ahead of you. I wish you both all the happiness in the world and I am so grateful I was able to be your wedding photographer!

Stevi chose Dolphins Resort in Campbell river because of its forest and ocean views…she couldn’t choose between the two so she opted for both! I have to admit this beautiful bridal party made the Pacific Coast even prettier…
Bern from Campbell River Florist worked her floral magic and created the most lovely fall bouquets…

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay up there forever, but these two certainly know how to celebrate their first day as husband and wife!
Before being tucked away for the ceremony, we quickly did a first look with Stevi and her dad…I think everyone’s eyes got a little misty witnessing the love these two share.

After family formals, we decided to stay on the beach for a few more photos before the sun completely dissapeared…Best.Decision.Ever.
