Bobbi and Kevin’s wedding day was one for the books. Really. They’ve known each other since childhood and both their parents have watched them grown up together as their families were neighbours for almost their entire life. Going from being family in spirit, to being actually family was something that was felt throughout the entire day as close family and friends watched their love story come full circle.
This wedding was especially special for me as Bobbi is my best friend’s little sister, so being able to be a part of her wedding day and documenting it is something I will never forget. Since their engagement session I knew their wedding day would be fun and absolutely perfect. There was champagne, cheers, tears and love that filled every corner of their day.
Bobbi and Kevin, where many words exist, I can only seem to find the following two: thank you. Really. I felt incredibly honoured to celebrate with your families and documenting your love was an absolute joy. I appreciate your friendship and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for two of the most amazing people. Ever.
I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks from your wedding day…

Bobbi and her girls stayed up making all the bouquets themselves the night before…I think they turned out beautifully
While I was with the girls, my second shooter, Shelanne, was with the boys while they got ready in the cabin.
Back at the Quaaout Lodge, I photographed Bobbi and her girls celebrating and popping champagne while they got ready…
Once everyone was prepped and ready, we headed off to the Flume Trails to photograph Bobbi and Kevin’s first look and wedding party photos
Have I ever told you how much I LOVE first looks?
Bobbi was telling me before we left for photos about how she remembers walking through the flume trails as a young child and thinking, this is where I’m going to have my wedding photos taken…Talk about PRESSURE! Bobbi, I hope I made your childhood dreams come true!
Then it was time for the bridal party to depart to leave space for just the bride and groom!
Holy hotness you two…
Shelby Penttila and Cynthia Zoller did a fantastic job with hair and makeup and making Bobbi the most beautiful bride…
Watching Bobbi’s father walk her down the aisle put me to tears…the sweetest thing.
I’m not sure if anything is prettier than marrying the love of your life in front of the Shuswap Lake.
Ladies and Gents, Mr & Mrs Sherman!
Bobbi and Kevin are two of the most fun people I have ever met…like just look at their grand entrance!
The first dance…
The night was filled with many heartfelt speeches to the new husband and wife, including this tear-filled one from Bobbi’s father…
Not a dry eye in the house
From ceremony to reception, their wedding day spanned across four yards. Kevin and Bobbi first met 25 years ago when their grandparents bought property on in the Shuswap making them neighbours. They watched each other grow up and their wedding day was a celebration of that as the wedding was held in the conjoining backyards
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more perfect love
The night ended with lots of dancing…
…and lots of laughter…
