Sarah and Caleub were wed in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, on a mountain top at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island. Friends and family gathered as they said their I do’s as the fog rolled in. Sarah joked it was her fall wedding in August.
The day had begun with Sarah and her bridesmaids at a house up at Mount Washington with so many gorgeous details. I loved the mix of bridesmaids dresses, the light blue, grey/blue and grey. Once Sarah stepped into her stunning Stella York wedding dress, we made our way to their first look. After not being able to find the location a local had told us about, Sarah’s dad, along with some of the bridal party, helped to keep the passerby at bay while we found a nook on the side of the road. We managed to keep it quiet for the two of them to share a few (tearful yet quiet) moments together. It set the tone for a gorgeous and celebrative wedding day…
Sarah and Caleub, I am so grateful to share and document your wedding day! I wish you two nothing but the best and I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of your wedding photos…

I love it when bridesmaids dresses are just a little bit different, and I’m also loving the shades of blue and grey!
While the girls got ready near Raven Lodge, the boys were getting ready up the hill at Bear Lodge…
One of my most favourite things is when a couple opts for a first look. Not only do you get to have a moment for just you two, it helps with getting photos done and out of the way so you have time to party and mingle with your guests a whole lot faster!
After searching for a spot a local told us to go for the first look with no luck, Sarah decided to just do it on the side of the road in front of the rock ledge…it made for some beautiful photos!
Those mountain views! Little did we know in about thirty minutes the fog would kick in
Raven Lodge has one of the most breathtaking ceremony views I have ever seen…nothing like getting married on the mountain!
If you need another reason to know these two are meant to be, their vows to one another were almost identical! Can you say soulmates?!
True Love.
Mr & Mrs House!
After family portraits, it was time to get a few more bridal party photos before the fog took us over
But, I mean…
The fog really lead to some beautiful photos…Sarah kept joking that is was her fall wedding in August. I really don’t think anything could’ve brought this girl down.
Do go onnnn!!
Sarah’s stunning bouquet of roses, dahlias, anemones and greenery was enough to make my heart flutter.
Wildflower on Location did such a gorgeous job with Sarah’s updo…and it was finished off beautifully with this hairpiece by Olivia the Wolf…
After photos, it was back to Raven Lodge for dinner and dancing!
Say hello to the new Mr & Mrs!
First Dance…
The night was filled with thoughtful speeches from family and friends and made for a heartfelt night filled with laughter, tears and a whole lot of cheers-ing!
