Olivia was a waitress at a local restraunt when in pops Riley one day. I don’t know all the details, but I like to imagine that he noticed Olivia right away. After some time, they begin chatting on Facebook where Riley asked her out on a date only to find she is in Palm Springs. He asks a second time, she’s in Whistler. So when Riley asked her the third time and Olivia had nowhere to be, they went on their first date.
Riley proposed this past Christmas, and of course Olivia said yes! Shortly after their engagement, Olivia won a free session with me from a workshop I photographed with Beverly from Hand Lettered Love (and I even photographed Beverly’s maternity photos at the same location!) They are getting married in a few short weeks, and although I am not their wedding photographer, I wish them both nothing but the best. I loved getting the chance to meet the both of you and document your love.
We roamed through Pitt Lake on the most gorgeous day with a swoon-worthy sunset – I’m not surprised we weren’t the only ones there for a session! Olivia and Riley, thank you so much for such a wonderful time on your engagement session! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your photos…
Olivia had her makeup trial done for her engagement photos, which I highly reccomend. Makeup by Kayla made her look extra polished for their session!
The view at Pitt Lake at sunset is one of the prettiest I’ve seen!
Then it was time for a quick outfit change and the champagne!
