In light of the recent snowfall, I’m sharing a (Vancouver) winter editorial I participated in last month. If you don’t already know, Vancouver is a rainy city and we are known to complain when the weather strays too far from low to mid 20’s. With that being said, we don’t always get snow during winter, and if we do it’s not a lot and doesn’t last too long.
A group of industry friends – some new, some old – decided to whip up a last minute collaboration before the years end, and I am incredibly proud with what we produced! I often pinch myself because I still can’t believe how lucky I am to do what I love, and the chance to do it with friends is the icing on the cake! Although there’s no snow, this is a testament to a typical West Coast winter (minus the rain)!

Sahara D was an absolute joy to photograph! I mean, anyone who can still genuinely laugh and smile in the cold weather without a jacket deserves some kind of medal! She’s a absolute gem.
Hannah Tikkanen makes the most beautiful dresses and I am always so happy when I get the chance to photograph them! This green silk number has to be my favourite…look at that movement!
Katrina from Brock Floral Cart created a stunning bouquet with a mix of dried and fresh flowers with lots of different textures.
I love the look Paige Griffith Makeup Artist created for this shoot…did you notice the green jewels in the corners of her eyes? SO pretty!
I loved this headpiece Clara Leung Designs made for this editorial.
