Vancouver Wedding Photographer | 2020 Photography Review: Weddings
Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Julie Jagt Photography
I’m certain no one thought 2020 would pan out the way it did. Closed borders, stay at home orders and big weddings being cut to 50 people or less. Although most weddings last year were either post poned (like mine) or were smaller and more socially distanced than first imagine, it makes me see the beauty in an otherwise looked down upon year.
I was lucky enough to be a part of a few weddings last year, and being able to witness, document and celebrate such a beautiful moment in these couples’ lives was a highlight of the year for me. Take a look below and scroll through some of my favourite images from 2020 weddings…
I originally thought I would miss out on my cousin’s wedding, but I was so happy when I was able to not only make it out, but to document it as well.
Alana and Tyrone’s wedding was a week before the entire world shut down. I’m so happy I was able to travel to Kamloops for their wedding before all restrictions kicked in.
I was also lucky enough to participate in a few editorials as the year went on and restrictions began to lift.
My favourite image from 2020.
Glowy boho sunsets by the ocean. More of this in 2021, please.
I had been looking forward to Linda and Eric’s wedding for a while. I was so pleased their wedding was able to go on as planned.
Huge THANK YOU to all of my clients past, present and future! Without you I wouldn’t be able to do what I love and your continued support means the world to me. Here’s to hoping 2021 will be a little bit brighter! Cheers!
