We can all attest that 2020 was a weird year. I don’t think I have ever fallen so far behind on blogging my work, however it just gives me more pretty to share in 2021! But I’m still going to put all the blame of my procrastination on last year 😉
Almost a year ago now, a group of wedding creatives teamed up to create this look mere weeks before the pandemic broke out causing us to shut down shop for months before being able to open up again. We rented a restored heritage house downtown Vancouver and put together a look with a vintage vibe and soft romantic colours. I have worked with all these wedding creatives before, so I already knew it was going to be a fun time, however, I think this was my favourite editorial to date. There’s something about the bright white walls, the masculine decor and the overall nostalgic feel that made this shoot what it was. It was all my favourite things rolled into one shoot and I couldn’t be happier with the results! And just wait until you see the floral wallpaper – I die! Scroll below to see some of my favourite images from the day…
The creative team:
Makeup & Concept: Paige Griffith Makeup Artist
Hair: Clara Leung Designs
Model: Nicole Fofonoff
Jewelry: Jeweliette Jewlery
Dress: Isabelle’s Bridal
Photographer: Julie Jagt Photography
Jeweliette Jewlery added the perfect amount of sparkle to this look.
White walls and natural light are a photographers best friend. And some floral wallpaper doesn’t hurt either!
This beaded gown from Isabelle’s Bridal is an absolute showstopper!
I was in LOVE with the soft, romantic updo Clara Leung Designs created for this look.
I always love working with Paige Griffith Makeup Artist and photographing the looks she comes up with. She truly knows how to let the best parts of someone shine!
