Vancouver Wedding Photographer – Julie Jagt Photography
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending a photography workshop here in Vancouver. I leave space in my calendar every year to learn, grow and get better at what I do. I do this not only as a photographer, but as a business owner as well. When I seen that Taylor from Secret Waters Photography was hosting one of her Modern Moon Workshops here in Vancouver, I jumped on it as quickly as I could. Taylor’s style of photography is completely different from my own, and I wanted to challenge myself to still make the images authentic to my style in such a different environment. It was also an opportunity to learn some new techniques and different ways to connect with future clients!
It was originally planned to be at Whytecliff Park (and all time favourite of mine), but the weather had other plans, and it was moved to this open penthouse space downtown town…but I think it worked out for the better. The clean white walls and concrete floors with floor to ceiling windows was the perfect place for this modern, bohemian elopement. We even had sometime to go out on the HUGE outdoor patio to catch the little bit of sunset we had that day.
Everything about this boho elopement style set-up was so dreamy, from the floral covered arch, to the perfectly styled table and seating area and the utterly adorable and fun-loving couple from Jo and Glo Photography. Take a scroll below to see some of my favourite images from the day…
