On top of juggling the guest list, cake tastings and menu options to name a few, you are also tasked with bringing on a creative team to make your vision come to life – all the while trying to stay on budget. It’s exhausting, trust me, I know. I’m here to shed some light on things to consider when hiring a photographer for your wedding, and possibly with other vendors as well. When looking for a Vancouver wedding photographer, you might only focus on the quality and or style of the images and price. But let me tell you, choosing a wedding photographer is so much more than that! Here are just a few…

You will be spending more time with your photographer on your wedding day than with anyone else. Making sure our personalities jive is my number one priority.

2. Finding someone you trust!

If you trust your photographer 120%, you know your day will be taken care of and that we have your back. This leads to less stress for you on a wedding day.

3. What they are offering besides pretty photos.

Is your photographer willing to go above and beyond to make your day the best it can be? This could be fixing your hair so the photo will be perfect, helping the boys put on their boutonnières (this happens almost every wedding), helping grandma down the stairs, grabbing you water if your thirsty or even helping to bustle up your wedding dress (you best believe I’ve done this too!)

I could go on and on, but when you are hiring a photographer for your wedding day, there is so much more that we offer besides capturing the day. I try so hard to make my couples feel like gold and that’s one thing that will never change.
