This past year, I have really let my blogging fall to the wayside. You Know What really took its toll on all of us, but with the lifting of restrictions and the possibility of things returning to normal by the end of the year has really lifted everyone’s spirits. And with that, I’m going to make a valiant effort to share on this space more often. Speaking of sharing and blogging more, here is this stunning wedding I photographed alongside fellow Vancouver Wedding Photographer Brooklyn D Photography way back in 2018! Swaneset has been on my list of places to shoot for a while now, so I was excited when Brooklyn invited me to join her for the day. And I am super excited to be coming back to photograph another wedding here early next year!
It was the most perfect summer day for a wedding. And Swaneset hosted the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Champagne was popped, the guests were joyful and the bride and groom were basking in newlywed bliss. Their wedding was a happy and celebratory one, as it should be. Sometimes it can be awkward walking into a wedding day as the second photographer as you have had no client correspondence as you are working for another photographer. However, Kassandra and Josh were such genuine and warm people, it was hard to not feel comfortable when in their presence.
Many thanks to Brooklyn for having me along for the day and to the bride and groom for your hospitality. You can check out Brooklyn’s post from the day HERE, it’s always fun to see the perspective of the same day through the eye of another photographer. Sit back and scroll through a few of my favourite photos from the day…
