It was almost two years ago that we were on the top of a mountain on the foggiest day in August photographing their wedding on Vancouver Island. Such a joy it was, and now again that Sarah and Caleub are expecting their first child. When they found out I would be coming through for my niece’s graduation, they made sure to book me in. This was the first time I had a chance to document a maternity for past wedding clients of mine, and it made my heart so full!
We roamed through a trail not far from their home and brought along soon-to-be big sister Zoe. The sun was bright and hot, and we were all happy and thankful to be surrounded by trees and shade. This was the beginning of the heatwave weekend, and I think these two deserve major props for surviving in this heat and still rocking their photos. Fun fact: A tree fell down in the forest in the middle of our session, and we found out If a tree falls down in the forest, it does in fact make a sound. A very loud sound.
I’m so grateful to follow along such milestones with these two. But for now, a sneak peek of their maternity photos. Pretty special, that sweet anticipation as you await the arrival of your first born… Many, many thanks, Sarah and Caleub!
