L+E’s Hart House wedding last year was one of the few 2020 COVID weddings I had. They had originally planned for a smaller wedding, so luckily their wedding was still able to happen as originally planned. So in light of it being their one year wedding anniversary today, I figured we could celebrate with a post and a walk down memory lane with two of the kindest people I have ever met.
Their wedding day, was much like today. Cloudy, threats of rain…but also pockets of intense sunshine (and heat) to keep us on our toes. We started the day in their apartment where they hosted a tea ceremony for their parents, then shortly after, one of the sweetest first looks I’ve had the privilege of witnessing. From there on out, we made our way to Deer Lake Park for some portraits. And since there was no bridal party, we had plenty of time to relax and focus on capturing them as a couple. The day was relaxed, calm and collected – much like them. It was honestly the perfect day and I am/was honored to be a part of it.
Much like their engagement session, these two requested to not have full photos of their face posted online, but I so wish I could show you how much joy radiated off these two on their wedding day. Have a peek through at some of my favourite images from their wedding day…Happy Anniversary you two!

Moments before their ceremony, peacefully dreaming of what the next chapter of their lives entails.
The most peaceful place for a wedding, feels like you’re at a lakeside cottage, but still close to the city.
Happy one year Anniversary L + E! I hope we have the chance to see each other again soon! xoxo
