Since moving to Vancouver just about 4 years ago, I had made a list of places I wanted to shoot, and Whytecliff park was at the TOP of my list. Since then, I have had the opportunity to shoot there on multiple occassions, and those views never get old. There’s forest hiking trails, oceanside beaches, cliffs, mountain views, ocean views – you name it. So when location plans for this wedding editorial went south, we ventured our way to West Vancouver to Whytecliff park, and it couldn’t have worked out more perfect! Dare I say, it was meant to be.
We decided to use two different dresses from Hannah, a more traditional white lace dress and then a flowy seafoam green gown. This editorial shifted from Italian coastline wedding vibes to full on glamourous mermaid bride very quickly. I love how versitile Hannah’s dresses are and seeing how easy it is to switch up a look while in the same location and by simply changing the gown.

Those ocean views and a real life mermaid, nbd.
I am so in love with this dark smoky eye Paige created here. I love the juxtaposition with the soft ocean colours and flowy gown.
If you’ve ever been to Whytecliff, you’d know how windy this spot is. We used it to our advantage to get some flowy shots in the sunset. Those views though!
