Capilano Suspension Bridge Engagement | Vancouver Wedding Photographer: Julie Jagt Photographer
I am in the midst of finishing up Chaintelle and Erik’s wedding gallery and figured what better time to share their second engagement session we did in the fall. Their first session was in Granville Island, so we wanted to do something a little different the second time around. We met at Capilano on a chilly and overcast fall day. We walked the trails as I was trying to keep my legs from shaking and holding onto my camera with kung-fu grip. As someone who is terrified of heights, this sort of thing isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but like I’ve said before, I will do almost anything for my clients.
Chiantelle and Erik are two of the most thoughtful, kind and enjoyable people to be around and through our time knowing one another, they both feel more like family than friends. Being able to document two people as much in love as these two are is such a treasure. I cannot wait to share their December wedding with you all, but until then, take a scroll through some of my favourites from their session…
Hair + Makeup: Via from The Lolita Collective
Like, c’mon…aren’t these two just the cutest?!
I LOVED this sophisticated ponytail that Via did for Chiantelle. And so did Chiantelle…she ended up choosing this style for her wedding and it was perfect!
Even though this was days before Halloween, they had already began putting up their Christmas lights. It definitely made the trails seem much more magical as we wandered through.
Okay models…
…but they still know how to let loose!
